NEXT GENERATION
Industrial Fibre Laser Cleaning Equipment
With the advance of laser technology for the cleaning and preparation of industrial surfaces, engineering and fabrication workshops are turning to laser cleaning improve safety and efficiency. From the mining and marine industries to more general industrial applications, laser cleaning is the future of surface preparation.
Laser cleaning can replace traditional soda, garnet or sand blast cleaning methods to remove rust, oxide, paint and other contaminants from metal surfaces. Laser cleaning will work on most surface coatings and will improve on the performance of Soda Blasting, Sand Blasting & Garnet Blasting by eliminating consumables & cleanup while decreasing potential damage to the substrate. Simpler, faster & better makes Laser Cleaning the future.

METAL Cleaning
RUST, Oxide & Paint
Nothing removes rust, oxide, grime, grease, scale & paint like a laser. Our lasers take your metal surfaces down to the base metal, ready for repair or recoating.
WELD Cleaning
CLEAN & INSPECT
Clean in and around welds to like new conditions to allow inspection or rework.
SURFACE TEXTURING
ETCH & SCORE
Increase the power to etch or score the surface of the substrate to assist in the bonding of primers or adhesives
MASONRY CLEANING
GRAFFITI REMOVAL
Strips all surface contaminants and returns masonry to like new condition. Perfect for graffiti removal.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
FASTER
The ultimate surface preparation for NDT as the laser does not apply any damaging energy to the subject matter being tested.

ADVANTAGES
NO CONSUMABLES
Lasers take away the need for media. No more garnet or sand.
NO CLEAN UP
No environmental pollution or mess created.
NO DAMAGE
Does not cause pitting or damage to the substrate.
ONE PASS CLEANING
One pass with defined edging removes dirt, paint, rust straight to the substrate and with no halo residue.
TRANSPORTABLE
The moveable PowerPak and with leads up to 20m, access is a breeze. Customisation can allow up to 70m length from power.
FUME EXTRACTION
Optional extraction directly at the Blaster minimises fumes caused by oxidising paint or metal treatments.
Laser Technologies is an Australian Mining, Engineering and technical Services (METS) company specialising in the advancement of industrial lasers for metal surface preparation. The company is based in Perth, Western Australia and services the Asia Pacific region. The founders and management of Laser Tech have extensive mining and technology experience, this team understands the importance of change management and exacting engineering standards.
Laser Tech can talk to you about the safe application of our technology and how to access specific work fronts. Our team are experts in confined space entry, rope access, atmospheric management, isolations, permits and the associated risk management practices.
In August 2021, Laser Technologies won a METS challenge with BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) to provide a safe, effective and environmentally sound method of cleaning port pylons and other over-water infrastructure in accordance with BHP’s environmental commitments. This competitive proposal and evaluation process demonstrated Laser Technologies a hand-held one-kilowatt fibre laser to be capable of removing old paint and surface corrosion from metal surfaces to a depth of 6mm and cauterizes it so it can be safely vacuumed away.
